Connect your channel and bot

Twitch needs two different accounts: your broadcaster account and the bot account viewers will see in chat.
  1. Create or choose a separate Twitch bot account. Set its name and avatar on Twitch.
  2. Open your Verb’s Twitch page and select Connect channel & bot with Twitch.
  3. Authorize your broadcaster account.
  4. On the second authorization screen, switch to the bot account and approve it.
  5. Return to Verba and choose the capabilities you want.
If setup pauses after the first step, use Authorize bot account with Twitch to continue. Verba doesn’t need your passwords or a manually copied bot token.

Choose what it can do

Capabilities cover chat content, moderation, stream operations, and engagement tools. Expression controls include chat-native tone, emotes, polls, live event reactions, announcements, and shoutouts. Moderation and stream actions require the appropriate Twitch permissions. Polls and some engagement tools also depend on your channel’s eligibility.

Chat commands

Twitch reserves slash commands for itself, so Verba uses !: Each command has a toggle on the Twitch page.

Images and audio

Twitch chat receives image and audio links, not uploaded attachments. Include an accessible image URL in a generation request to supply a reference. Voice Engine can add an audio link to a reply; it doesn’t make the bot speak on your stream automatically. Twitch does not support Verba live calls.
